Amanda is a writer, poet, photographer, educator, spoonie, and jewelry maker in Louisville, KY. She earned her MFA at Vanderbilt in Creative Writing in 2012. She completed an MA in 2009 with a photographic project on The Small House Movement, entitled Closer to Home. She taught high school English for 9 years and Photography for 2. She left teaching in 2021.
